The Miami Lakes Optimist Club is opening spring registration for NFL Youth Flag Football, online, from Feb. 13 – March 13.
The sport is for children ages 5 – 17.
Cost is $115 for town residents, $135 for non-residents.
Registration includes an NFL jersey, shorts and all equipment.
Head coaches receive $50 off after certification and a background check.
Players of all levels are welcome; there is a mandatory skills clinic on March 20 at Royal Oaks Park.
Practices will be coordinated by team coaches and held weeknights at Miami Lakes Optimist Park, 6411 NW 162nd St.
Games will be played Saturdays at Royal Oaks Park, 16500 NW 87th Ave.
There will be six different age divisions, and new players must upload a birth certificate.
