Registration for the Miami Lakes Optimist Club's Flag Football Program will take place on Saturdays, January 24, 31, and February 7. Kids aged 5 to 15 may register. Parents can sign up their kids in-person at Miami Lakes Middle School (6425 Miami Lakeway North) from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
Payment can be made with cash or by check. The fee is $120 for new players and $100 for returning players from last season. Registration is also available online beginning January 24 at www.MIAFlag.com.
League games are on Saturday mornings at Royal Oaks Park (16500 N.W. 87 Avenue). The season runs from February 28 to May 16. The registration fee covers the jersey, socks, and all other equipment. For questions or to find out more information about the program, call 786-859-6925.
