The St. Thomas University Bobcats, the defending Sun Conference champions, have been picked to finish first in the 2018 Sun Conference Men's Soccer Preseason Coaches' Poll.

The poll was voted on by each of the conference's 10 head coaches.

St. Thomas received seven first-place votes and 74 total points, edging out Keiser by two points for the top spot. The Bobcats posted a 14-1-2 mark in 2017, defeating Truett McConnell in the Opening Round of the NAIA National Championship, and falling in penalties to Mobile in the Round of 16.

Coach Felix Mats returns with members of last year's conference championship squad, including junior forward Pablo Gil who registered seven goals and five assists.
