St. Thomas University signs top-ranked Spanish soccer player

Carlos Mora Gonzalez, a midfielder from Jaen, Spain, has signed to play men's soccer at St. Thomas University (STU) beginning in the Fall of 2019, head coach Felix Mats annouced in a press release.
Mora Gonzalez transfers to STU from Western Liberty University, where he started in eight games and registered an assist. He also plays for Team Atletico Jaen FC in Spain.
Mora Gonzalez joins a STU Bobcat team which has won two Sun Conference tournament championships and Sun Conference regular season titles in the past three seasons.
“Carlos is a player that can make an immediate impact to our mid-field next season,” said Mats “He adds valuable experience coming from NCAA Division II, West Liberty, and we look forward to adding an experienced player to the roster.”
