After several years, student golf is finally returning to Monsignor Edward Pace High School, with former PGA Tour player Manny Zerman leading the program as head coach.

Zerman has a long, storied golf career, starting at 15 when he became the youngest player to qualify for the South African Open. He played in the 1991 and 1992 Masters as an amateur and turned pro in 1993, playing in the US PGA Tour and in the 2000 British Open.

After retiring from professional play in 2000, he opened the Manny Zerman School of Golf in Hollywood and began teaching PGA Tour players and individuals from around the world.

He now brings his golf prowess to Pace High School. To start off the season, Zerman held a meet-and-greet and skills evaluation for Pace students interested in golf at the Miami Shores Country Club on August 22. The team had their first match of the season against Divine Savior Academy on August 31.
