STU's Tim Sada signs with Tripoli club

Tim Sada, St. Thomas University's all-time three-point leader, has signed a professional contract with Al Mouttahed Club to play overseas in Tripoli, Lebanon for the 2019 season. Sada will be playing for his hometown team while in Tripoli as his family is from Courier.
The contract is a two-year deal with a player option for the 2020 season.
NBA star Hassan Whiteside played with the Lebanese club in 2013 before returning to the United States to play for the Miami Heat in 2014. 
Sada, who played at STU from 2014–2018, recorded 1,251 points over four seasons as a Bobcat and is the program’s all-time leader in three-pointers made (280).
As a senior for the 2017-18 season, Sada recorded a career-high 420-points and guided St. Thomas to a second round appearance in the NAIA National Tournament in Sioux Falls, S.D.
For his career, Sada averaged 10.6 points-per-game, 2.2 rebounds-per-game and one assists, while shooting at a 43/43/85% mark.
Following his St. Thomas career, Sada participated in the Eurobasket combine while in Las Vegas and was named to the top-20 All-Star team. Sada begins his professional career for the Mouttahed Club in August.
