Miami Lakes officials welcomed Hope for Autism United Soccer Foundation by joining its grand opening and ribbon cutting celebration on January 16 at its new location on Wellness Way, 15165 N.W. 77 Avenue.

Hope for Autism United Soccer Foundation is a program that teaches soccer skills to children and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other related developmental issues, while providing a supportive environment that encourages a life-long love of exercise.

“We are extremely happy that Autism Soccer chose Miami Lakes as their home,” said Vice Mayor Manny Cid. “Soccer therapy has shown positive results for individuals with Autism and related disorders.”
