Two Florida International University track and field standouts demonstrated strong performances in the long jump and high jump during the University of Miami Hurricane Alumni Meet in Coral Gables, with one student-athlete breaking her own school record.

The former American High standout Christian Williams in the long jump, recorded a 7.02m for two third-place finishes during the two-day event.

Last year, the senior set an indoor personal record in the long jump of 7.04, as he finished fourth at the GVSU Track Meet, and he finished sixth in the high jump with 2.02m at the Outdoor C-USA Championships.

Clarissa Cutliff broke her own school record in the high jump during the recent event.

The reigning two-time Conference USA Female Field Athlete of the Year set the previous mark at 1.82 m and blew away the old mark with a height of 1.85 m.

Cutliff has the second-best jump in Division I this season.
