USA Basketball is coming to Miami Lakes.

The teams that were chosen to represent the U.S. in the FIBA 3x3 AmeriCup will train four days at Shula's Athletic Club starting Monday.

The tournament is Friday through Sunday, Nov. 12 - 14, at Bayfront Park in Miami.

Representing the U.S. men this week will be Canyon Barry, Kareem Maddox, Trey Bardsley and Charlie Brown Jr.

The U.S. women's roster includes Blake Dietrick, Cierra Burdick, Brionna Jones and Alexis Peterson.

The 3x3 format has three players on the court for each team, playing half-court. The U.S. won Olympic gold in women's 3x3 at the Tokyo Games this past summer, with a different roster than what was picked for the tournament in Miami.

“Miami's a great city,” Barry, a former member of the Florida Gators, told USA Basketball last week. “It's warm, and it's in Florida where I live, so I'm excited to spend a couple of weeks down there.”

Practices at the athletic club are not open to the public.

This is the first time the FIBA AmeriCup 3x3 tournament is being played. FIBA is the sport's global governing body, and the AmeriCup tournament brings together teams from the countries in the FIBA Americas region: North America, South America and the Caribbean.
