Corey for St. Jude gold tourney at Shula’s nets $50K for Children’s Hospital*

The 2017 Corey for St. Jude benefit golf tournament was held on October 23 at Shula’s Golf Club.

The event raised $50,000 for St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. In 15 years, the event has raised over $617,000 for the hospital and has sold out the last four years as demand continues to grow.

Golfers were treated to lunch from Shula’s Steak House prior to the tournament, and enjoyed food and beverages from Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza, Shorty’s BBQ, and Bacardi while on the course.

Dr. Thomas Merchant, director of Radiation Oncology at St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, was on hand to enjoy the festivities and receive the check.

Title sponsor for the tournament was Mike Napoli of the Texas Rangers. Gold sponsors included Atlas Metal Industries, The Graham Companies, and Downstream Designs, Inc.
