Main Street Players (MSP) presents a free staged reading of No Cojas Lucha, written and directed by Sonia Cordoves, at 8:30 p.m. pm Thursday, May 24, at the Main Street Playhouse, 6766 Main Street, in Miami Lakes.

The free reading will be performed in Spanish for one night only.

Boy meets girl, falls in love and now wants to get married. No problem, since she's Cuban and her parents are planning the extravagant wedding. Where else, but in Hialeah. Where else can an audience see butterflies, white doves and lots of azabaches all in one place? 

Don't miss this hilarious spoof on what happens in a typical Cuban household when there are setbacks and loads of novela-type drama! The cast includes Ernesto Miyares playing Manolito, Clara Lyzniak as Flor, Madelin Marchant playing Silvia/Angela, Christopher Dreeson as Charlie, Sonia Cordoves as Juana, Vanessa Elise as Elenita and Charles Sothers as Mark.
