Our Lady of the Lakes names Barbara Picazo as new principal

Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School has tapped Barbara Picazo as its new principal for the 2019-2020 school year.
Picazo, the school’s assistant principal for the past 18 years, will replace Ricardo Briz, the longest-serving principal in school history, following his retirement.
Picazo joined Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School in 1995 and has excellently served the school with devotion as a middle school Language Arts and Religion teacher and assistant principal throughout her tenure.
Picazo’s position as new principal is effective July 1, 2019.
“We are very blessed to have her lead Our Lady of the Lakes School onward as we persevere in building the future for our school,” according to the school’s website.
