Pace alumni Bryan Garcia ordained a transitional deacon

Religious Wednesday, June 18, 2014

Monsignor Edward Pace High School alumnus Bryan Garcia, class of 2006, has been ordained a transitional deacon as he continues to prepare to enter the priesthood in the spring of 2015.

In late April, family and friends gathered for the ordination of Garcia and 12 other seminarians by Gregory Parks, Bishop of Pensacola and Tallahassee, at Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Boca Raton.

The following day, Garcia gave his first homily at his home parish and elementary school, Immaculate Conception Church in Hialeah. Garcia's parents, Ana Garcia and Eddie Garcia, are both incredibly proud of Bryan's dedication and commitment to his faith. Both parents are principals of Catholic schools, and they have made it a point to serve as role models for all of their children throughout their lives as people of faith.
