Pilar and Guido Inguanzo celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary

Pilar and Guido Inguanzo, residents of Miami Lakes, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a mass at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church officiated by the Reverend Rolando Medina who renewed the couple’s wedding vows.

Afterwards, a celebratory brunch was held at Italy Today on Main Street. The couple was joined by family and friends, including their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The couple are natives from Cuba and have lived in the United States since 1961. They met in the U.S. shortly after their arrival and married in 1965. Both are very active in town activities for seniors, participating weekly in art classes, tai-chi, and the dominoes club sponsored by the Town.
