Councilmember Tony Lama (second from left), participated in a tree dedication ceremony honoring fallen veterans from Miami Lakes on May 6 at Picnic Park West. He joined Veterans Committee members (from left) Alejandro Sanchez, George Deming, Jose Braniella, Angel Vazquez, Gary Cardenas and local artist Al Darmanin. “It was an absolute pleasure and honor to share such a special moment with a great committee and group of resident veterans,” Lama said. “This commemoration is the least we can do to honor the fallen soldiers that made Miami lakes their home.”
