17th annual Career Day hosted for students at Bob Graham Education Center

Over 50 parents and community members gathered to share information with students at the 17th Annual Bob Graham Educational Center (BGEC) Career Day. Coordinated by counselors Joel Castellanos and Sara Najara, this year’s Career Day was the most successful to date. The day opened with welcoming remarks by principal Yecenia Martinez. A breakfast buffet was prepared by cafeteria staff led by cafeteria manager Mayra Franco. Following the welcoming remarks and breakfast, the presenters spread out around the campus and presented information on careers ranging from Animal Training to Public Service. The entire BGEC family thanked all those who contributed to a successful career day! It was heartwarming to see them carve time out of their busy schedules to share information on their careers with students.
