Miami Lakes town hall will be bathed in purple light on Nov. 21 to mark Give Miami Day. The 24-hour event is hosted by The Miami Foundation, which accepts donations for hundreds of non-profit organizations that serve the region. For the past decade, Ocean Bank in Miami Lakes has been the top donor to boys and girls basketball program that is run by the Optimist Club in Miami Lakes.
