     The merchants on Main Street hosted a second annual night of Halloween fun for families on Oct. 25. The Mayor’s Gala raises $45,000 to fund programs for people with special needs

   The 2024 Mayor’s Gala with the theme “Last Night in Paris” brought French flair and black tie to the Miami Lakes Hotel on Main on Sept. 28 and raised $44,612 for the town’s Special Needs Advisory Board. Miami Lakes Chamber of Commerce donates $6,500 to area non-profits

The Miami Lakes Chamber of Commerce donated $1,500 each to four local non-profit organizations that serve children. Not shown is a $500 donation made to the Zonta Club of Miami Lakes.
