Miami Lakes Economic Development Committee announced the winners of the inaugural “Best of Miami Lakes” awards.
The winners are:
Best Cafe: Vicky Bakery
Best Lunch Spot: Casavana
Best Dinner Restaurant: Anacapri Italian Kitchen & Wine
Best Retailer: Blacc Boutique
Best Hair/Nail Salon, Barber Shop, Spa, etc.: Shula’s Spa
Best Doctor, Dentist, Therapist, etc.: Miami Lakes Dental Associates
Best Accounting Firm, Law Office, Consultant, Brokerage Firm, etc.: The Keyes Company.
The committee thanked residents who showed their support for the local business community by submitting their selections for the awards.
The winning businesses will be recognized on Small Business Saturday November 25, at the annual Festival of Lights Ceremony on Main Street.
Small Business Saturday is celebrated each year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving and encourages people across the country to support small local businesses. The Town encourages shoppers to use #iheartmiamilakes #shopsmall on all social media outlets to display local pride.
