Miami Lakes businesses can provide feedback for future economic development forums

Business Friday, December 2, 2016

Miami Lakes Economic Development Committee, which has hosted a series of workshops this year aimed at educating the local business community on resources that are available to them, is now encouraging local business owners to provide feedback in a short 10 question survey.

Participants can supply the Committee with ideas for new forums, workshops, networking e vents, marketing tools and services that better fit their business needs.

The survey is available by visiting www.miamilakes-fl.gov/edc.

The 2016 workshops included “Growing Your Business,” “Social Media and Marketing,” and “Access to Capital” in partnerships with such organizations as the Small Business Administration, Career Source South Florida and the Beacon Council.

The Economic Development Committee is focused on not only promoting economic growth in Miami Lakes by attracting new business, but also ensuring that current businesses remain pleased and ensure their desire to remain in the town with the goal to reinforce, strengthen and promote the livability and sustainability of the Town’s commercial and industrial business districts.
Business owners who wish to provide feedback on a program or service that is not covered in the survey may contact Nicole Singletary at 305-512-7132, or singletaryn@miamilakes-fl.gov.
