Miami Lakes Chamber welcomes award-winning storyteller Dan Grech

Dan Grech, founder of BizHack Academy and an award-winning journalist and storyteller at The Miami Herald, Washington Post and NPR, is the guest speaker for the Miami Lakes Chamber of Commerce membership meeting.

The event is scheduled for 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, September 12 at Don Shula’s Hotel, 6842 Main Street.

Grech also worked at two software startups and an energy company, and has mentored startups and established businesses at the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program, the Inter American Development Bank, Babson College’s WIN Lab, StartUp FIU, the Ideal Center at Miami-Dade College, the Venture Mentoring Team and Venture Hive.

Grech is a graduate of Princeton University, and earned a Master’s degree in storytelling from FIU. 

He performs in an improv troupe, plays soccer and mentors high-impact entrepreneurs.

BizHack Academy provides personalized digital marketing training for business owners and professionals in South Florida. Its in-person courses, bootcamps and workshops are designed to drive business growth through digital lead generation. BizHack has worked with more than 300 corporations and businesses including Royal Caribbean, Univision, Novartis and Copa Airlines.

Grech will discuss topics including Facebook and Google as channels of acquisition; targeting using Custom Audience and Look-alike Audience; Retargeting and Remarketing; Examples of successful small business digital advertising campaigns; and live demonstrations of ad platforms.

Networking starts at 11:30 a.m. followed by lunch at 12 noon.
