New Generation Computing (NGC), now located at 14900 N.W. 79 Court, Suite 100, in Miami Lakes, is celebrating its new headquarters office in addition to the offices it has in New York, Los Angeles, Canada, China, India, Mexico and El Salvador.

NGC, which was first founded in 1982, develops and sells software services to fashion brands, retailers, and consumer product companies. The software is web-based and allows companies to manage the process of designing, developing, and taking charge of the manufacturing process at overseas factories and the logistics of transportation.

NGC additionally offers consulting services that complement the web-based software. Services include business consulting, implementation services, and technical services. The company has a host of clients worldwide including brand names like Armani Exchange, Aeropostale, Billabong, Carter's, Hugo Boss, Spanx, and VF Corporation, the world’s largest apparel company that includes names like The North Face, Vans, Reef, Jansport, Lee and Nautica among others.

NGC’s software is also used by companies that sell footwear, eyewear, accessories, specialty products, and furniture as well.

As a software provider, NGC is also a strong proponent of ethical sourcing, and encourages their clients to utilize the specific designations within its software program to ensure that products are manufactured under safe working conditions, one of the first software programmers to address this issue.

Most recently, NGC received more than a dozen top ten rankings in the 2013 RIS News Software Leaderboard, an annual guide to the retail industry’s best software providers. The company was also named as a 2014 Top 100 Logistics IT Provider for the sixth consecutive year by Inbound Logistics Magazine.
