The Zonta Club of Miami Lakes supports the fight against breast cancer. On Sept. 25 members participated in the Women’s Breast & Heart Initiative’s 6th Annual Pink Walk 5K run and walk held at the north campus of Miami Dade College. The Zontas are a community service organization of professional women who work to improve circumstances for women and girls. They are affiliated with Zonta International, and focus on legal, political and economic rights, access to education and health services and putting an end to human trafficking.
