Halloween event needs volunteers

High school volunteers are needed for the frightful annual Halloween event. Nightmare on Montrose is a free event organized by the Miami Lakes Youth Activities Task Force and is scheduled on Saturday, October 28, at Miami Lakes Park West, 15151 N.W. 82 Avenue.
Volunteers who attend all of the volunteer opportunities will receive 75 hours of community service. The introduction meeting will be held on Friday, September 28, beginning at 6 p.m. at Mary Collins Community Center, 15151 N.W. 82 Avenue.

Other volunteer meetings will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at Mary Collins on Fridays October 6 and October 27, and on Saturday, October 28 (tentative hours) from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.
