Pace Spartan Golf Classic scheduled for April 4

Sports Wednesday, March 26, 2014

Monsignor Edward Pace High School will be host its annual Spartan Golf Classic on Friday, April 4. The tournament will take place at the historical Country Club of Miami located at 6801 N.W. 186 Street.

Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. Golfers will have unlimited use of the driving range, and lunch will be provided by Outback Steakhouse from 11 a.m to noon with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m.

"Longest Drive" and "Closest to the Pin" contests are included in the tournament, and a car, donated by Miami Lakes Auto Mall, is the prize for the winner of the "Hole-in-One" contest.

All the proceeds from this event will go toward the Spartans-4-Spartans Program to help students who encounter extreme financial hardship while attending Pace. This is an opportunity to get in a round of golf while supporting Pace's tradition of excellence in Catholic education.
