If you’re at K-9 Cove you might see Frosty, Chewie and Snoopy enjoying the outdoors.
The trio are owned by Andrea Gonzalez and live on the west side of Miami Lakes.
“Frosty, 9, is a Bedlington Terrier and is the matriarch of the group,” Gonzalez wrote in an email.
Frosty will let her young companions Chewie, 2, a Maltese and Shih Tzu mix and Snoopy, 1, a long-haired miniature Dachshund when she has had enough.
“She is the mother of the group, she wants to be by herself and not bothered,” Gonzalez said.
While Frosty enjoys time indoors, her two younger companions enjoy patrolling the backyard and hunting for lizards.
“I’m so happy that all of them get along so well,” Gonzalez said.
“Everything has worked [beautifully],” Gonzalez said.
When the trio aren’t enjoying the outdoors, they spend their time keeping an eye on things from the front window of the house.
“The mail carrier, Amazon delivery trucks, garbage trucks and neighbors passing by are greeted with plenty of barking,” Gonzalez wrote.
The trio are also very friendly with other dogs and people and enjoy afternoons at K9 Cove.
“It’s a really nice community at K9 Cove,” Gonzalez said.
Gonzalez said that despite the age difference they are a tight knit pack and there is never a dull moment.
