  Miami-Dade Police officers from the Miami Lakes District held a Coffee with a Cop event at the McDonald’s restaurant in the Cypress Village Shopping Center.  The gatherings allow residents to meet with local police officers while sharing coffee and snacks.      The Neighborhood Improvement Committee held one of its community bicycle rides around town.      The theme on Feb. 10 was Mardi Gras.
