Call it pandemic fashion, the colorful face coverings we wear to protect ourselves, our families, friends and neighbors from the COVID-19 virus. At the Miami Lakes Farmers Market on April 24th, masks had patterns of Chinese cats, flowers and a falcon, to celebrate the United States Air Force. What kind of mask do you wear? History Lake Placid is a Miami Lakes condo community with 102 units. It was originally an apartment complex called Angelic Point. Grad banners for sale

The Town of Miami Lakes and its Education Advisory Board is selling banners to recognize 2021 high school graduates. The banners will hang along Miami Lakes Drive for three months. The project is open to all town residents, and includes a student’s name, graduation photo and school. The cost is $105; the banners are 24 inches wide and 48 inches high.
