Miami Lakes K-8 Center partners with Feeding South Florida

  Miami Lakes K-8 Center (MLK8) students and parents joined Feeding South Florida's 24-hour Sort-A-Thon on September 8. Over 26,000 pounds of food was sorted in a three hour shift for individuals and families affected by food insecurity.   Feeding South Florida is the sole Feeding America food bank that serves counties like Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade, and Monroe.
