  Voice of Love Training and Development, in partnership with The Children’s Trust, will host its annual Cross Country Jingle Bell Jog 5K at 8 a.m. on Saturday, December 6, at Shula’s Golf Club Par 3 course, 7601 Miami Lakes Drive. Discover Montessori Academy, located at 15650 Miami Lakeway North, invites the community to a Trunk or Treat event on Halloween, October 31 from 7 to 9 p.m. Volunteers will decorate the trunks of their vehicles with a variety of themes. Children and adults alike are encouraged to come in costume and visit each vehicle to collect treats while enjoying music, bounce houses and refreshments.
