Ana Mestre honored as Paraprofessional of the Year

Ana Mestre is in her second year as a Therapeutic Paraprofessional Assistant at Bob Graham Education Center (BGEC) and has been named as this year’s Paraprofessional of the Year. Mestre is currently assigned to a student that is visually impaired. Mestre feels that she is instrumental in preparing her student for life outside the school. She tries to make it as comfortable as possible for him while at the same time making sure he is treated like all the other students. Mestre truly believes in being positive in any circumstance and being able to leave a mark in the lives of others. Mestre has always had a passion to work with children and has truly fallen in love with her job.
