“Camp Holocaust,” a dark comedy penned by Josh Tarjan and Adam Melnick, children of Holocaust survivors, will have a play reading at the Main Street Playhouse for one night only on Saturday, December 13, at 7:30 p.m.
The play reading, directed by Robert Coppel, delves into the lives of two children of Holocaust survivors who wish to understand what their parents went through by opening a camp aptly named “Camp Holocaust.”
Though conceptually risky, “Camp Holocaust” is a comedy that doesn’t take itself too seriously, while still shedding light on the undoubtedly tragic event that shocked the world decades ago.
Tickets are $10 at the door or online at www.mainstreetplayers.com. For more information, visit the website or call 305-558-3737.
