Catholic Hospice staff in ML participated in several holiday events

Community Thursday, January 5, 2017

Catholic Hospice, a not-for-profit health care organization providing end-of-life care to terminally ill patients and their families, located at 14875 N.W. 77 Avenue in Miami Lakes, hosted a month-long holiday event to inspire good cheer and collecting items for patients.

The collection project, called “A Christmas to Remember” had staff members gathering donations from the local community to benefit their patients and their families. This was part of a larger project called “Our Christmas Story” which featured daily events and activities for staff members at Catholic Hospice. One of the event days was an Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest, another day was a cubicle decorating competition.

Staff member Roxana Rovira won Ugliest Sweater, decked out in lights, ornaments, and patches to celebrate her holiday spirit.
