Sept. 11 Arts for Autism fall fundraiser. A family-friendly fundraiser for the Arts for Autism program. Enjoy dancing, MyGym gymnastics and snacks. Also free resources for families. Sept. 15 Mental Health Night at Town Hall. Do you know the warning signs? Panel discussion for parents to connect with resources for children, teens and themselves. Presented by The Education Advisory Board and the Town of Miami Lakes. 6601 Main St. Free. 6:30 p.m. 

Sept. 17 Culinary Bike Tour. The annual Culinary Bike Tour presented by the Economic Development, Cultural Affairs and Neighborhood Improvement committees. Sept. 24 Mayor’s Charity Gala and Casino Night with a Great Gatsby theme to benefit the Special Needs Advisory Board. Enjoy dancing, drinks, a buffet dinner and casino games. The event is 21+. Roberto Alonso Community Center, 16500 NW 87 Ave. $100 per person. 7:30 p.m. 

Sept. 25 Ms. Senior Miami Lakes. The Elderly Affairs Committee invites women 60+ to compete in a pageant that celebrates their 60+ years of happiness.
