Cub Scout Pack 529 visits ML Fire Station 64 to earn Life Safety Badges

Miami Lakes Battalion Fire Chief Abel Fernandez hosted Cub Scout Pack 529 from Bob Graham Education Center on a visit to Miami Lakes Fire Station 64 on March 30. Fernandez along with Lieutenant Derrick Foster, Fire Driver Wayne Knight, and Firefighters Cecilia Santos and Eleazar Bermudez gave the Cub Scouts a tour of the entire station and the various fire trucks at the station. They provided the Scouts with an overview of the workings of the Fire Station, basic emergency preparedness and essential life and health safety tips. With this visit, the scouts all earned their emergency preparedness and life safety badges.
