The Miami-Dade County Solid Waste Department collection trucks can reach 5-feet onto the swale or driveway to retrieve their containers. Residents should not place their containers in the paved part of the right of way, or they may be liable for damage to a passing vehicle.

Residents are asked to separate waste and recycling containers at least 3-feet from each other.
