Miami Lakes Elderly Affairs Committee in partnership with Mount Sinai Medical Center will present a lung cancer awareness workshop from 11 a.m. . to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, November 14, on the Council Chambers at Town Hall, 6601 Main Street.
The presenter, Dr. Estellamari Rodriguez, is board certified in medical oncology and hematology. She has a special interest in early detection and treatment of lung cancer, and how cancer affects women. She is co-investigator of the Mount Sinai Cancer Research Program, and co-chair of the Multidisciplinary Thoracic Group.
Light lunch will be served courtesy of Mount Sinai Medical Center.
