Elderly Affairs Committee schedules seniors field trip to Zoo Miami for Feb. 7

Miami Lakes Elderly Affairs Committee offers free field trips for senior residents 55 years and above. The next field trip is scheduled for Tuesday, February 7, to Zoo Miami. 

Zoo Miami, formerly known as Miami MetroZoo, is a zoological garden that is the largest and oldest zoological garden in Florida. It is also the only tropical zoo in the continental United States.
Zoo Miami houses over 3,000 animals, and features over 100 exhibits. For guest convenience, there is an air-conditioned monorail system, with an aerial view, that loops around the zoo’s premises. Guests can also enjoy a wide selection of dining and retail options throughout the zoo.

Transportation is provided to and from Town Hall. The bus will depart at 10:30 a.m. Space is limited and reservations are required. Reservations are open and remain open until all seats are filled.
