The Town of Miami Lakes and its Cultural Affairs Committee is presenting the annual Father’s Day Fishing Tournament for residents on Saturday, June 19.
Anglers should arrive at Miami Lakes Optimist Park Marina, 6411 NW 162nd St. between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. to pick up a bucket with bait, an oxygen tablet and an official ruler provided by One Stop Marine in Miami Gardens.

Fish must be caught within town limits between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. that day, then photographed and released alive.
Pictures must be emailed before 4 p.m. Monday, June 21st.
Winning categories
are: Youngest Fisherman; Oldest Fisherman; Smallest Fish Caught; Biggest Fish Caught; Most Fish Caught; Best Overall Fisherman and Best Fishing Team.
