On March 11, the Giving Gators organization hosted its first community fundraiser event at Painting with A Twist in Miami Lakes.
The purpose of the event was to help generate funds for high school students within the community, in need of assistance, to attend their 2018 Senior Prom.
Due to the generosity and support of all those who participated and contributed, the event was a huge success.
Those in attendance included Giving Gators founders Daylin Garcia and Ana Rosella, Miami Lakes Mayor Manny Cid, Barbara Goleman principal Joaquin Hernandez, assistant principal Robert Inza, along with event sponsors Nu World Title, LLC, Mayor’s Cafe, Air Cooling Inc., Joel Bueno, Tony Fernandez, Marcos Gutierrez, Hector Abad and other personal community sponsors.
Giving Gators is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded by involved parent volunteers at Barbara Goleman Senior High and committed to assist students in need.
