Hispanic Heritage Festival set for Sept. 28

The 13th Annual Hispanic Heritage Festival is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 28 at Country Village Park.
The celebration is scheduled to be held from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. at the park that is at 6550 NW 188th Terrace in Miami.
Admission is free and will feature live music performances; a bounce house; rock climbing; pony rides; art and food.
The festival is sponsored by Miami-Dade County Commissioner Barbara Jordan.
National Heritage Month began Sept. 15 and commemorates the history, culture and contributions of Hispanic and Latin-Americans in the United States. Celebrations will be held throughout South Florida during through Oct. 15. For more information call 305-474-3011.
