Local residents and their furry friends are welcome to the Canine Cocktails 3rd Annual Puppy Prom on Thursday, May 18, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hotel Indigo, 7601 Miami Lakes Drive.
Guests will sip on cocktails and munch on appetizers as the event raises money and awareness for Miami Dade Animal Services. Those participating can purchase organic dog treats from the Doggie Bag Cafe and potentially adopt an animal looking for a forever home, provided by the Miami-Dade Animal Services department. Special performances by Sandy Lane and John Adams will take place.
