In celebration of National Ice Cream Month, riders on the free Miami Lakes Moover buses will receive a “Flavor Fanatic” key fob during July. Riders will receive 10 percent off all scoop shop purchases at Ben and Jerry’s Miami Lakes location in the Royal Oaks Shopping Plaza, 15484 N.W. 77 Court.
The giveaway is part of a new opportunity the Town is offering to local businesses to promote their produces and services to the riders on the Moover buses. Each month, the Town, in partnership with a local business, will offer riders a coupon or frequent user card for a free or discounted item or service.
Last fiscal year, Moover ridership nearly doubled totaling approximately 30,000 riders. On average, the Moover provides service to about 2,000 riders each month.
