M.L. Library sets free programs for May

Miami Lakes Branch Library has the following programs available for the public during May:

For Children:

Family Game Day! Enjoy playing a variety of table games and family and friends. For all ages at 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 24.

For Teens:

Tween Book Club – This is a tween book club for ages 8-12. Members meet once a month to discuss the chosen book of the month. Registration required. Meets at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 31.

Teen Club: Games and More - Teens meet to play video games, watch anime, draw or discuss books. For ages 12-19 years at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27.

For Adults:

Book Discussion Group – Contact the branch for this month’s title. Meets at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 20.

Cuba, La Republica de Generales y Doctores – Local author Robert Solera discusses his book at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21..

Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart Community Outreach – A member of Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart’s staff will visit the library to discuss federal issues or any problem a constituent may have with a federal agency. Meets at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 28.
