Miami Lakes Youth Activities Task Force invites residents and their families to join Scotty Smalls and the rest of the Sandlot baseball team at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 3, at Miami Lakes Picnic Park West, 15151 N.W. 82 Avenue.
This movie classic, The Sandlot, is a coming of age movie set in the summer of 1962. Together, the Sandlot team get themselves into many adventures involving baseball legend Babe Ruth, life guards, and “The Beast,” the neighborhood vicious dog.
Don’t forget to bring blankets and chairs for this free family-friendly movie watching event under the stars.
