Our Neighborhoods Royal Pointe

Community By Megan Jacobo, Reporter Tuesday, July 13, 2021

History

Royal Pointe is a boutique community of just 27 custom-built, single-family homes.

The small and quiet neighborhood is a hidden gem on the west side of Miami Lakes.

It is bordered by Northwest 82nd Avenue and Northwest 83rd Place, and the fields beyond that stretch toward Northwest 87th Avenue.

It is nestled on the north and south between the Gramercy Park and Royal Palm Estates home- owner associations.

Amenities

There are single and two-story homes with three to five bedrooms, two to four baths and two-car garages.
Many properties have backyard swimming pools.

The community is near the Park Centre Shops and Picnic Park West is within walking distance. For commuters, the Palmetto Expressway and Interstate 75 are close by.

Area schools include the Bob Graham Education Center, for students enrolled in kindergarten through eighth grade.

It has an “A” grade from the state.

Who lives there?

Dr. David Bennett, a dentist, has lived in Royal Pointe for two decades.

“It’s a nice, quiet little community,” Bennett said.

“Everyone takes care of their own houses, and everyone does a great job. Our neighbors are great,” he said.

What does it cost?

Realtor Juan C. Fernandez of Keller Williams Realty in Miami Lakes describes Royal Pointe as a safe and quiet neighborhood.

“The good thing about a small community is that you know all your neighbors,” Fernandez said. “There’s no [homeowner’s association] so people find that very attractive.”

The most recent sale was in July, 2020, of a four bedroom, three bath home.

It sold for $822,600, according to Fernandez.

Property prices can range from $700,000 to over $1 million, Fernandez said.
