Palm Springs United Methodist Church, 5700 W. 12 Avenue in Hialeah, is hosting a Back-to-School Health and Wellness event. Free immunizations for children entering Kindergarten through 7th grade which are required for school entry will be available.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, August 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the church's Fellowship Hall.
The first 50 children in attendance will receive free back packs fueled with school supplies and toiletries. Other health services will be provided for children and adults.
