Meet Penny Capote!
A 1-year-old Golden Retriever, Penny lives with the Capote family – Rebecca, Anthony and their children Mila, 11 and Tano, 15 -- on Lake Katharine.
“Penny is the baby of the house, I can tell you that,” Rebecca Capote said.
Penny enjoys long walks in the morning and hunting lizards in the afternoon.
“She is very loving, lovable and playful,” Capote said.
Penny also follows a healthy diet, and “enjoys an apple a day,” her mistress said.

Though he’s named for a movie villain, Vader is a sweetheart. The German Shepherd/Labrador Retriever/ Chow Chow mix, 4, lives in the Lake Patricia neighborhood with Karen Gonzalez and her godparents, Analicia and Luis Barba.
“Vader loves his morning walks, where he sees his furry neighbors, Titan and Summer,” Karen Gonzalez said. “He is 101 pounds but a social butterfly.”
Also among Vader’s circle of friends: the family’s cat, Domino, and parrots Coco, Tequila and Cleopatra.
