Cody was found abandoned on a Homestead farm, along with a mama dog and lots of puppies. When the rescue organization Paws 2 Care Coalition was gathering up the dogs, Cody scratched a van window until they went back for his last puppy, said Rob Waterfield.
Cody gets to visit with some of his offspring at the rescue group’s events in Hollywood.
Cody, a Rat Terrier, has lived in Miami Lakes with Rob and his wife Janet Waterfield for 2.5 years.
“He’s very chill,” Janet Waterfield said. “We’re very lucky that way.”
Cody helps keep the couple in good shape by taking a lot of walks.
Otherwise, “he’s very loving and loyal, a tranquil dog,” Rob Waterfield said.
