Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) is at the forefront of offering and providing access to outstanding educational programs. Students will have the opportunity to participate in educational services at selected school sites during the summer session scheduled for July 5 through August 1, 2017. These services are designed to assist students to successfully meet academic grade-level requirements.

Students in grades 4-12 may enroll in a variety of educational, recreational, cultural, social, enrichment, and course recovery for promotion/graduation activities, as appropriate, offered through various District departments. Summer camp programs will also be available at designated elementary and middle schools.

M-DCPS and the Foundation for New Education Initiatives will be collaborating with Miami-Dade County and the Children’s Trust to expand the County’s Summer Youth Internship Program through the District’s Youth Internship Program. This initiative will provide youth with additional educational, work experience, and training opportunities through a paid internship. Along with receiving stipends, program participants will also earn high school credit and have the opportunity to earn dual enrollment credit through Miami Dade College.
